NBA Youngboy drops a new song “On My Side.”
After giving us “Life Support” last week, NBA YoungBoy continues dropping new material as he releases another new single called “On My Side.” This one also comes along with an official video but doesn’t feature an appearance from the incarcerated rapper. The song will appear on his upcoming album “Sincerely Kentrell” which is dropping next week on September 24.
NBA YoungBoy released ‘Until Death Call My Name,’ in 2018, and ‘Top,’ in 2020. At the time of its release, it reached number one on the Billboard 200 list. The rapper is now being imprisoned without bond at the St Martin Parish Correctional Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as he awaits trial for a firearms violation. He has been incarcerated since the beginning of 2021 after being arrested in Los Angeles on weapons allegations.
YoungBoy Never Broke Again recently partnered with Motown Records for a new deal. “I’m excited to work with Never Broke Again, a homegrown brand that has created an incredibly authentic and credible movement that represents the next generation in Louisiana’s legacy of ground-breaking hip-hop labels. I look forward to working with YoungBoy and Montana to continue to grow their vision and reach their fans around the world,” said Motown Records CEO.
