Big K.R.I.T shares a new song “So Cool”.
Earlier this week, Big K.R.I.T. took to his social media to reveal that he has turned in his next studio album, a follow up to 2019’s effort “K.R.I.T. Iz Here“. Now the Mississippi rapper kicked off the campaign with his brand new single called “So Cool”. It is the first new offering since last year’s “Pick Up The Pace“.

“When I get hot like the summer / When the AC on, the light bill turn up / You wanna cuddle when I think I might burn up / I’m feeling licky, so I might play the numbers / I’m on the come up,” he raps on the short track. A music video is also scheduled to drop in the morning.
K.R.I.T’s series of five career-defining mixtapes (Return Of 4eva, 4eva N A Day, King Remembered In Time, It’s Better This Way, and A Style Not Quite Free (12 for 12)) were published on DSPs for the first time a few months ago as a special gift. The blog-era standards had previously been lost in translation as the music industry transitioned to the new streaming norm, but they’re back and here to stay today.
UPDATE: Added the retro music video.
