Lil Yachty unleashes “Slide” EP.
Lil Yachty makes his return to the music scene as he drops a brand new EP titled “Slide”. This is a three-song project, which includes tracks “Slide”, “Solo Steppin Crete Boy” and previously released “Strike (Holster)”.
The new project follows up on Yachty’s “Let’s Start Here” album, which was released earlier this year. In September, Yachty will also kick off his “The Field Trip” tour which was announced recently. The North America tour will kick off on 21st September in Washington, DC and will go through major markets like New York, Montreal, Boston, Toronto, New Orleans, San Diego, Vancouver, Las Vegas, Chicago and more before conlcuding things in Atlanta on 8th November.
Yachty shared in a recent interview with Billboard that he feels better than ever about his music. “I was always kind of nervous to put out music, but now I’m on some other sh-t,” Yachty said. “It was a lot of self-assessing and being very real about not being happy with where I was musically, knowing I’m better than where I am. Because the sh-t I was making did not add up to the sh-t I listened to.”
