Kendrick Lamar’s new songs surface online.
A pack of three Kendrick Lamar songs surfaces on Spotify with the name “Morale Pack”. The song was uploaded by a user named Marozy, who previously leaked Kanye West’s songs “City in the Sky,” and “Mr. Miyagi.”
The unreleased Kendrick Lamar songs are titled “Pure,” “Make Me Happy” and “Computer Love,” which were reportedly recorded during “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers” sessions. One of the songs called “Pure” is produced by Pharrell.
“Kickstands, i moved out the way / I’m on dryland / Dodging raindrops from the fakes / Pure, i don’t want it no other way / Pure, this time you feel more alive, are you sure?,” he sings on Pure.
As rumors began to circulate on Twitter that new Kendrick Lamar songs had surfaced on streaming services, DJ Dahi, a frequent collaborator of Lamar’s, took to Instagram to express about the leaks. He wrote in an Instagram story” Why are y’all leaking s– from 4 years ago? we didn’t even bounce these records out. These kdot records are strictly demos. Y’all really dying of thirst out here lol.”
At this year’s Grammy Awards, Kendrick Lamar was nominated in 8 categories, and took home the honour for three nods. The rapper won the award for best rap album for his latest album “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers“, also won the awards for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for his track “The Heart Part 5“.
