Joyner Lucas shares a new track “Seventeen”.
Joyner Lucas is back with some more new material as he drops a brand new track titled “Seventeen”. The song is produced by Leo Son & ADHD Productions, and it arrived with an accompanying music video.

This follows up Joyner’s previous offerings “Cut U Off” with NBA Youngboy and “Blackout” with Future. The rapper is currently prepping the release of his upcoming album “Not Now, I’m Busy”, a follow-up to 2020’s debut album “ADHD“.
“They never knew that one day all this sh-t I be dreamin’ about, I’d be livin’ it / Jump out the window and took the advantage, I know my potential is limitless / Never respected a f–k ni–a poppin’ that sh-t then they run to the internet / Runnin’ your mouth when I’m runnin’ a check, I be feelin’ my money’s unlimited,” he raps.
Lucas’ previous album ADHD debuted at number ten on the US Billboard 200 with moving over 39,000 album-equivalent units in the first week. It featured guest appearances from Young Thug, Chris Brown, Fabolous, Timbaland, Logic and more.
“When I was a kid I was diagnosed with ‘ADHD’.. they said I was aggressive, fidgety, hyperactive, impulsive, etc… they tried to put me on meds,” he said about his disorder ADHD which inspired the album. “Everyone around me including my own parents made me feel like I wasn’t normal. I had to constantly see a doctor who made me take tests and all that. They separated me from the regular kids in school and put me in these classes away from everyone… Creating music was and always has been my only therapy. It’s the only way I ever knew how to express myself. I was tired of being cut off every time I spoke or had a opinion.. I figured if I made music then you would have no choice but to listen to me and hear me out… The kid with ‘ADHD’ did it.”
