Joey Badass shares another new song “Where I Belong”.
Joey Badass was supposed to drop his long-awaited new album “2000” last month, but it was pushed back due to clearance issues. This project is expected to release in July, and the rapper continues the campaign with another track. Joey Badass teams up with producer Statik Selektah for his latest song called “Where I Belong”, which arrived with an accompanying music video.
“Back on the set like I never left / I’m takin’ steps to be the best ’til they lay me to rest / VVS upon my chest they got them DVS / Ain’t no tints on my two-door, I want them see it’s us,” he raps.
Last week, Badass assisted Chance The Rapper on the song “The Highs & The Lows“, and also performed it at the BET Awards 2022.
The previously released songs “The Rev3nge” and “Head High” are followed by “Where I Belong.” The tracks may or may not be included on his future CD. Due to sample clearing complications, the original release date of June 17, 2000 was postponed. Joey said last week that he will unveil the new release date on Friday.
