French Montana drops the video for “FWMGAB”.
After ending 2020 with his album “Coke Boys 5“, French Montana returns with some new material as he started the new era with a new single “FWMGAB“. The song which was announced earlier this week stands for “F**k with me get a bag“. Now we can soon hear updates about the new Montana album.
French samples Jerry Rivera’s “Amores Como El Nuestro” to tap into the thriving Latinx culture in his hometown of the Bronx, New York City. He then sings a song devoted to the Bronx, which he dedicates to the borough.
To make this single, French teamed up with one of his first senseis, Sean Love Combs (a.k.a. Diddy), a fellow Uptown native. The song is supposed to evoke the feel of summer in New York City, prompting Diddy to call it a smash and the “tune of the summer.”
In April, French Montana assisted DMX & Swizz Beatz on “Been To War“, from the soundtrack to the “Godfather of Harlem 2” series.
French Montana just released the CB5 (Coke Boys 5) mixtape, the latest in a long line of career-defining releases, and he graced the cover of XXL to talk about his journey so far and this new chapter in his illustrious career. In 2020, he will surpass another high record, surpassing nearly 13 billion combined career streams (as reported by Variety).
