Eminem & CeeLo Green’s “The King & I” surfaces online.
Last week, Eminem announced his return to the music as he revealed that he will be contributing to the soundtrack of the upcoming movie on legendary Elvis Presley. The rapper posted a teaser of the song titled “The King & I”, which is a collaboration with CeeLo Green.
Now before the track officially releases later this month, it was played at Elvis Movie’s UK Special Screening last night. The song is produced by Dr. Dre, and the Detroit rapper name drops the likes of 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa in his lyrics.
“I rolled up like the bottom of a tooth paste tube / Blue suede shoes, one missin’ a shoe lace too / Two chains, you can call me 2 Chainz / Ropes hang like Hussein’s noose,” he raps.

Doja Cat is bringing Big Mama Thornton’s “Hound Dog” back to original blues origins. The artist released “Vegas” on Thursday, a song from the forthcoming Elvis biopic, which will be released on June 24. Doja originally previewed the song by posting a 10-second snippet online before performing it at Coachella last month on the main stage. The rap-heavy music borrows Thornton’s vocals and gives it a Doja twist.
Doja raps about a man who never earned her attention and whose ass she had sitting first class in the song’s lyrics. “I ain’t playin’, that’s hide and seek, player/High school, when you finally peak,” she raps, with help from Thornton (italics), who recorded “Hound Dog” before Elvis Presley’s famous 1956 version. “Hound dog, come find a treat/I’m a bad bi**h but/You ain’t nothing but a/Dog? Player, I get it.”
The full soundtrack will release along with the movie on June 24th, with music from Denzel Curry, Doja Cat, Jazmine Sullivan, Nardo Wick, Swae Lee, Diplo, Tame Impala and more.
