DaBaby and Davido connects on “Showing Off Her Body”.
After being quiet for some weeks, DaBaby is back to the music scene with a brand new song called “Showing Off Her Body”. The Omobonike Olofin-produced track features assistance from Nigerian singer Davido. The track comes along with an accompanying music video, where the duo parties in Davido’s hometown with the public.
“So since you taken put a playa on yo’ friends or somethin’ / So I can show her i’m the man or somethin’ / Show her the type of sh*t I stand on, her boyfriend don’t really stand for nothin’ / I never switch up on the fam for money,” he raps.
Since BLAME IT ON BABY, DaBaby’s third studio album, was released two years ago, 13 new tracks have been added to the album. Quavo, Future, Roddy Ricch, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, JetsonMade, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, London On Da Track, Ashanti, and Megan Thee Stallion all contributed to the album. With 124,000 first-week album-equivalent unit sales, the project gave DaBaby his second consecutive number one spot on the Billboard 200. A few months after becoming Platinum, BLAME IT ON BABY also released a deluxe version with 11 more cuts.
This follows up DaBaby’s previous releases “Wig” & “Bonnet” with Moneybagg Yo and Pooh Shiesty.
