Cordae drops a new song “Super”.
After teasing it earlier this week, Cordae has dropped his brand new single called “Super“. The song is produced by Kevin Boston and it comes along with an Arrad Directed official video. The music video shows the Raleigh, North Carolina rapper in different scenarios, from teaching in school to becoming a judge to getting his head chopped off.
“They tryna question my character,
young rich and black they hate me in America
We some real ni**as don’t fit criteria,
don’t like your vibe, not allowed in my area,” he raps.
The bold single, which comes with some sumptuous graphics, finds the Grammy-nominated songwriter firing off flexes with a well-earned swagger. In the first bar, he raps, “Last year I made seven million, didn’t have to do a single f**kin show.” From there, he hits the uptempo instrumental with zeal, making it plain that he isn’t playing any games; his sights are set on GOAT contention if the music video didn’t make it clear enough.
With this track, Cordae has officially kicked off the campaign for his long-awaited project “From A Bird’s Eye View“. Cordae recently appeared on Adin Ross’ Twitch Stream where he showed off his freestyle skills, with lyrics over Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s beats.
