Cordae & Hit-Boy Releases New Song Checkmate For Madden NFL 23

Cordae and Hit-Boy connect on “Checkmate”.

Cordae continues putting out new music as he now join forces with Hit-Boy for a brand new song titled “Checkmate”. The song comes as part of the soundtrack to Madden NFL 23 game, which was dropped last month on August 19.

The soundtrack also includes new music from Big K.R.I.T, Erica Banks, Snoop Dogg, Nas, Ty Dolla Sign, Wiz Khalifa, Pusha T, Lil Uzi Vert, Nas, Joey Badass and more.

“It felt like yesterday I was just driving my grandma’s Chevrolet / From South Carolina to Maryland, I take the jet today / I’m still on the come up, I’m still building my resume / I still got a lot to prove but still I’m heavy weight,” raps Cordae.

Hit-Boy will formally unveil his autumn project later this year. Fans have indeed gotten to hear several solid teasers from the album, including “Scholar,” which features 24Hrs and Devin Morrison, “Corsa,” which features Dom Kennedy, and “Fireproof.” In the year and, he has also worked on many collaboration projects, including HITGIRL with Dreezy and Bulletproof Soul with Pacman Da Gunman.
