Cordae & Common drops the new song “What’s Life”.
Cordae continues releasing new material as he links up with Common for a brand new song called “What’s Life“. The song will appear on ESPN’s The Undefeated’s upcoming “Liberated/Music From The Movement Vol. 3“. The project will also feature Chlöe, Lucky Daye, Kamasi Washington, and Yara Shahidi.
Juneteenth is a significant day in the history of Black America, and it is only fitting that it be commemorated with music by some of our generation’s most gifted Black artists. Music For the Movement Vol. 3 is a collection of hip-hop, R&B, jazz, funk, and neo-soul songs that pay tribute to Black Americans’ various achievements throughout history.
In 2018, Cordae teased the song “What’s Life?” which now contains a verse from famous rapper Common. On this tune, both MCs bring their A-game, pondering the meaning of life with thought-provoking bars.
Last month, Cordae scored his first Billboard Hot 100 song with Eminem & Jack Harlow’s collaboration “Killer” Remix. Listen to the new song below.
