“You know how you are with your day-one friends? We could be like that, but at the same time, we understand each other enough to know, ‘Aight, I can be next door from him. He’s working on his project, I’m working on my project and we just sit in our own spaces and zone out,’” A Boogie said in 2019 about friendship with Roddy Ricch. “But then, he can pull up on me like when he pulled up to New York and I’m in Jue Lan club. Same thing when I go to L.A., I pop up on him and it’s the same love. So anytime somebody treats the relationship like that, you gotta keep it going and keep that genuation. I said genuation. That’s a good a—word.”
The new album is arriving a year after his previous short EP “B4 A Boogie vs Artist” which featured 7 tracks with a guest appearance from Lil Durk. The new album will be a follow-up to his 2020’s effort “Artist 2.0“, which debuted at #2 on Billboard 200, earning 111,000 album-equivalent units in the first week. The album has received 149 million on-demand streaming of tracks from the album. The RIAA certified the album platinum for units sold and album-equivalent units of more than one million units in the U. S.
