Westside Gunn shares a new project “10”.
Westside Gunn is back with some new material as he ended his “Hitler Wears Hermes” project series with a new album titled “10”. The Buffalo rapper originally wanted to conclude the series with Side B of “Hitler Wears Hermes 8″ Sincerely, Adolf” last year. The new project follows up Gunn’s recent album ‘Peace “Fly” God’ which dropped in July.
“It’s only right that we end here. All special things get a memorial release,” said Westside Gunn. “The last double album was going to be the final one, but it felt weird leaving off at nine and not Ten. I had to celebrate this series which has meant so much to fans. Everything I do sounds nothing like the last thing I did. That’s the creative in me, and I’m always going to push the culture forward. I’m ending this on a really special note with Ten.”
Gunn revealed a star-studded list of appearances on the album during an earlier this month interview with Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg, featuring Black Star, Run The Jewels, Busta Rhymes, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, DJ Drama, and Doe Boy. In addition, Swizz Beatz, RZA, and The Alchemist among others assisted him in the production.
The 10 song album contains guest appearances from ASAP Rocky, Busta Rhymes, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Run The Jewels, Benny The Butcher, Conway The Machine and more. The production is handled by Pete Rock, Alchemist, SZA, Confuctor Williams and more.
