Benny The Butcher drops his new album ‘Burden of Proof’ feat Freddie Gibbs, Rick Ross & others.
After giving us Lil Wayne & Big Sean assisted ‘Timeless‘ last week, Benny The Butcher has finally released his brand new album “Burden of Proof“. The project contains 12 tracks with guest appearances from Freddie Gibbs, Rick Ross, Dom Kennedy, Westside Gunn, Conway the Machine, and more.
Benny enlisted the help of the renowned Guru to master “Burden of Proof”, in addition to collaborating with the year’s hottest producer. Benny’s Pyrex-laced raps cut through the production, demonstrating that the rapper is poised to scale new heights. That mood echoes the album’s overall message, which Benny and Hit were attempting to convey.
The label has boasted about a slew of releases planned for 2020. Despite the fact that they have released so much new music this year, the Buffalo-based collective has also delivered some of the best drops, mixing quality and quantity.
“Burden of Proof” was merely announced a week ago, with the glistening lead single “Timeless.” The music for “Timeless” was a remnant from the sessions for JAY-Z and Kanye West’s collaboration album, Watch The Throne, in 2011, according to Hit-Boy.
Burden of Proof is the rapper’s official follow-up to his blockbuster release, The Plugs I Met. Benny co-hosted The Respected Sopranos, the debut mixtape from his Black Soprano Family, alongside DJ Drama earlier this year. Benny also contributed verses to Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist’s Alfredo, Lil Wayne’s Funeral, Royce Da 5’9′′”s The Allegory, Conway’s From King to a GOD, Boldy James’ The Price of Tea in China, and both of Westside Gunn’s 2020 albums.
We’re still listening to Conway The Machine’s From King To A God on repeat after hearing Westside Gunn’s new album Who Made The Sunshine, but Benny The Butcher is ready to take over with what he deems the year’s most-anticipated record.
