Russ drops a new project “If Not Now, When?”.
After announcing it last week, Russ has dropped his brand new EP called “If Not Now, When?”. It is a follow up to his December star-studded album “Chomp 2”. The new project contains 4 song which includes “Star”, “Waves”, “Back From London Freestyle”, “Never Again”, and no guest appearances.
On the 21st of April 2022, he disclosed the project on his social media networks, only five days before its release. Russ debuted three of the four tunes on Instagram live, and it appears he wants to publicly release them before embarking on his ‘The Journey Is Everything’ global tour, which begins on May 1, 2022.
The album has a combination of exuberant rap and more contemplative R&B tunes and emotions. Collin Adams did the artwork for the cover.
The project comes just before his world tour “The Journey is Everything World Tour”, which kicks off on April 29th. The tour will go through 65 cities, 28 countries, and 6 continents, with support from Bugus, BIA and Kylyn.
“Boutta leave for tour. I’m down 20 pounds since January. I feel amazing and smell exquisite with hints of mental wealth and luxury. 4 new songs droppin tonight. Imma try performing some songs for the first time this tour (all to you, small talk, etc). Setlist is 33 songs..as of now. Can’t wait to see all of you, it’s been too long…gonna be a fun one,” he wrote.
