Royce Da 5’9″ unleashes “The Heaven Experience, Vol. 1” Project.
Royce Da 5’9″ is back to the music scene as he releases the first instalment of his compilation album series, “The Heaven Experience.” The project contains 15 tracks, including previously released hits and some unreleased records.
The album features Eminem assisted “Rock City”, Rick Ross & Pusha T featured “Layers”, “Caterpillar” with Eminem & King Green, “I Play Forever” with Grafh and more.
The unreleased songs are “Right Hand Man” with Black Thought, “What A Time” with Courtney Bell & Lil Rodriguez, “Black Lives Matter” with Big K.R.I.T., and solo efforts “I’m Good” and “Made”.
During a recent interview with HipHopDX, the Detroit rapper reveals that he’s working on his eighth studio album. “I’ve been mulling over some ideas,” he said. “I think I know what I’m going to do next project-wise. I don’t necessarily want to say right now just in case it ends up changing. But I have been working in a couple different directions. But, yeah. I’m definitely working on music, especially now that I’m in a better mental space.”
While there are rumours that The Breakfast Club will be ending, Royce Da 5’9 addressed his feud with Lupe Fiasco last year, when the two hurled musical insults at one another. “Do I regret it? I don’t know if ‘regret’ is the right word, but I’m not happy about saying that, ’cause I don’t think he’s a bi**h,” Royce said on being asked if he regret the feud. “I don’t think we should speak to each other that way, but I do understand why I said it, ’cause it was just a reaction. It was a point that I got pushed to, and I feel like I gave a lot of warning points. I gave a lot of lean into it, and that’s me knowing myself.”
