NBA Youngboy drops new project “Colors”.
There’s no stopping Youngboy Never Broke Again as the Baton Rouge rapper releases his brand new project “Colors” after a series of new offerings. This comes on the heels of his latest collaboration “Bestie/Hit” with DaBaby. Last week, he dropped his single called “Bring the Hook” where he dissed the late King Von. The album is titled “Colors” Deluxe and it features a pack of 20 tracks.
The project also feature recently released “Know Like I Know“, where the Baton Rouge rapper took shots at NLE Choppa. Last month, NBA Youngboy teamed up with Birdman for the project called “From The Bayou“.
YoungBoy announced his intention to retire from music in early December 2021. “I lost love for music and it brings too many problems,” he explained to DJ Akademiks during a Clubhouse talk. “I been waiting to stop making music for about one and a half years.” However, there has been no formal notification about his retirement as of yet.
The Baton Rouge rapper’s latest album achieved 79,000 equivalent album units, including 77,000 in streaming equivalent album units (118.56 million on-demand streams of the tracks), less than 2,000 in album sales, and the rest in track equivalent album units. This is NBA YoungBoy’s eighth top-10 entry, all of which he has accomplished in less than four years.
It follows up his last year’s album “Sincerely, Kentrell“.
