KXNG Crooked & Joell Ortiz share a new project “Harbor City: Season One”.
Just a few months back, KXNG Crooked and Joell Ortiz joined forces on a new project “Rise & Fall of Slaughterhouse” during which they had a spat with other two members Royce da 5’9″ and Joe Budden of the dismembered hip-hop group Slaughterhouse.
The two rappers now join forces on another new joint album titled “Harbor City: Season One”. The album contains 24 tracks, with production from DJ Silk, Hesami, Heatmakerz, Aganee, Hesami and more.

This is their third joint and consecutive project, following 2020’s “H.A.R.D.” and this year’s “Rise & Fall of Slaughterhouse”. It’s been over 5 years since KXNG Crooked last released a solo album, as he dropped “Good vs. Evil II: The Red Empire” in 2017, while Joell Ortiz released his most recent solo effort “Autograph” in 2021.
The conflict surrounding the Slaughterhouse hasn’t prevented Crook and Ortiz from working on their most recent collaborative partnership, Harbor City Season One. Ortiz referred to the album as a “audio drama series” on Instagram, and listeners have indeed praised the record’s lyrics on social networks.
