Joell Ortiz drops the new album “Autograph”.
Following the release of “In My Feelings” and “One Day” earlier, Joell Ortiz has finally dropped his brand new solo album “Autograph”. “Every time I gear up to release new music I feel like a brand new artist. Those butterflies never leave. I’ve learned to love that feeling,” he said. It is his first project since last year’s KXNG Crooked collab album “H.A.R.D.”
“My creative process is pretty simple. I write to the music that moves me and speak my truth. That’s never wavered. Once I feel like I got all of my thoughts out, I put the pen down and listen to everything in its entirety. That’s usually where I figure out things like title and artwork,” the Slaughterhouse rapper said in a press release.
The new album is laced with 13 tracks and guest features from KXNG Crooked on “Housing Authority”, Marc Scibilia on “Going Thru It”, Cyhi The Prynce on “Holy Ghost”, Sheek Louch on “Love is Love”, Juliet on “lifeline”, and Pastor LBS on “Doors Up”. The production is handled by Heatmakerz, Hesami, Apollo Brown, Salaam Remi, and more.
