Jim Jones & Hitmaka connects on “Back In My Prime”.
Jim Jones and Hitmaka continue putting out new material as they join forces for their new collab album “Back In My Prime”. This follows up Jones’ last year’s collab albums “Gangsta Grillz: We Set The Trends” with DJ Drama and “The Lobby Boyz” with Maino.
The new project contains 8 tracks, including the previously released “I Am” with Stefflon Don. The other guest appearances come from Jeremih on “FU Better”, Benny the Butcher & Trav on “Bet It All”, Ty Dolla Sign on “YKTV” and more.
Jones kicked off 2022 on a high note with the launch of the mixtape, We Set The Trends, hosted by DJ Drama. The project featured guest appearances from renowned artists such as Icewear Vezzo, Dave East, Doe Boy, and Migos. A few months later, he collaborated with Maino on The Lobby Boyz, which saw contributions from Fivio Foreign, Yung Bleu, Capella Grey, Young M.A, and several others. To conclude the year, Jones and his VL Records collective commemorated the festive season with the compilation, 12 Days of Xmas.
