French Montana releases his new album “They Got Amnesia”.
French Montana continues dropping new material as he finally releases his fourth studio album “They Got Amnesia”. Montana made his return to the music last month with the release of the new single “I Don’t Really Care“. He followed it up with Fivio Foreign assisted “Panicking“.
The new project is a follow up to his 2019’s album “Montana”, and contains 21 tracks including a bonus one. The guest appearances come from, John Legend & Rick Ross on “Touch The Sky”, Kodak Black on “Mopstick”, Pop Smoke & Lil Durk on “Stuck In The Jungle”, Doja Cat & Saweetie on “Handstand”, Coi Leray on “Push Start”, Ty Dolla Sign & Latto on “Striptease”. The project also had a guest feature from Drake, which has been removed from the album for undisclosed reasons.
French Montana recently appeared on Power 106 for LA Leakers freestyle where he spits bars over Mobb Deep’s “Black At You”, Drake’s “No Friends In The Industry,” LL Cool J’s “I Shot Ya,” “The Truth,” and two Notorious B.I.G. records “You’re Nobody (Til Somebody Kills You),” and “Long Kiss Goodnight.”
They Got Amnesia was supposed to have a collaboration with Drake called “Splash Brothers,” but Drake didn’t feel comfortable releasing new music after the tragedy at Astroworld Festival, thus the song was cut. “I think it’s going to go on the deluxe,” French said in an interview with Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning.
