Dave East releases a new project “How Did I Get Here?”.
After announcing it earlier this week, Dave East is back with his new project “HDIGH” which means “How Did I Get Here?”. It is his first project of 2022, and a follow up to last year’s Harry Fraud produced “Hoffa” album. The project which is based on a true story features a pack of 9 tracks.
The guest appearances come from Method Mon on “Unbelievable”, Musiq Soulchild on “Deeper Than Love”, Anthony Hamilton on “John Lennon”, Trae Tha Truth on “Crash Out”, Benny the Butcher and Steven Young on “Don’t Let Me Down” and more. The EP is entirely produced by Mike & Keys.
Later that night, the rapper and his buddies attended an afterparty at LIV Nightclub, where 2 Chainz and Jim Jones performed. East also performed his songs “Handsome” and “Phone Jumping” as a surprise. Paris Laundry capped up the festivities by putting together a brunch for Dave East at the restaurant Nikki Beach.
For a long time, Dave East has been one of the hottest rappers on the east coast. The Harlem rapper also released his “Karma 3” album in 2020. East has been on a roll since 2019, when he released his first album, “Survival,” which debuted at number 10 on the Billboard 200.
