DaBaby shares a new short project “Let’s Do It”.
DaBaby is back with some more new material as he puts out a short EP titled “Let’s Do It”. This follows up on his May’s offering “Call Da Fireman“. Last year, DaBaby released his most recent album “Baby On Baby 2“.
The new mixtape is a pack of three tracks, titled “Crash The Jeep”, “No Finsta” and “D-ck”. “Last time I checked, I was the man on these streets / Ain’t the type of ni–a you gon’ understand if you weak / Can’t see me givin’ a damn about a freak, that sh-t over, yeah / I take the weight of the mothaf–kin world with one hand and put that on my shoulder / I’m like that, ni–a,” he raps on Crash The Jeep.
The rapper’s popularity hasn’t been the same since 2021 Rolling Loud controversy. “I mean, I grow every day, but, above all, I’m just more knowledgeable about the tolerance of the business I’m in. It’s a learning process,” he said in an interview last year. “You know, being an artist, 24/7 full time. Not only that, like, I was an artist at the highest level. Like I made it to the highest level of this sh-t. So it’s like you get the adjustments that you gotta make, just like becoming a grown-a-s man in life.”
“I had no choice,” he said on adjustments he made after the controversy. “But that’s what I do. I adapt, I adapt by all means under any circumstance, I adapt to whatever. Wherever I go, life is life.”
