Conway The Machine drops the “La Maquina” project feat Benny The Butcher, 2 Chainz & more.
After giving us ‘Scatter Brain‘ with JID and Ludacris, Conway The Machine continues releasing new material as he drops his new project called “La Maquina“. The project contains 11 tracks with additional guest appearances from Westside Gunn, Benny The Butcher, 2 Chainz, and more. The production comes from The Alchemist, Murda Beatz, Don Cannon, Daringer, and more.
JEAN BLEU and JR Swiftz provide a track that is similar to Daringer’s work while remaining their own on La Maquina’s opening track, “Bruiser Brody.” Conway effortlessly raps over a track most wouldn’t expect him to choose, “6:30 Tip-Off,” which features production from Bangladesh.
Although “La Maquina” is sure to please fans, it’s also a nice treat to tide listeners over until Conway’s Shady Records debut, “God Don’t Make Mistakes“, is ready. His previous tapes, “From King to a GOD” and “If It Bleeds It Can Be Killed“, preceded the release of this one. These tapes, like “La Maquina“, feature several artists from Conway’s Drumwork Music Group.
A slew of producers contributed to the project’s foundation. Conway worked with Griselda’s in-house producer, Daringer, and created even more magic with Alchemist, but he also demonstrated his versatility by ripping through Murda Beatz and Don Cannon instrumentals With God Don’t Make Mistakes, Conway perfects his Shady Records debut. His earlier recordings, “From King to a GOD” and “If It Bleeds It Can Be Killed”, preceded the release of this one. These recordings, like La Maquina, include various musicians from Conway’s Drumwork Music Group.
