Benny The Butcher shares the new album “Tana Talk 4”.
The Butcher is here. After announcing it earlier this year, Griselda’s Benny The Butcher has unleashed his brand new album “Tana Talk 4”, a sequel to his 2018’s effort, and a follow up to 2020’s “Burden of Proof“. The project is released after recently signing a deal with Def Jam Recordings with help from label’s Executive Creative and Strategic Consultant Snoop Dogg.
“I love Tana Talk 3, it’s what got me familiar with the people. It’s the real me, who I was then. It’s my baby, my first born. It brought me here and made me,” Benny shared in a statement. “With Tana Talk 4 I have a chip on my shoulder. No one thinks I can recreate that energy. I’m not trying to create the same energy, but TT3 was who I was then, what I was going through. The things you hear me talking about on Tana Talk 4, is me now and who I’ve become” he added. “It’s special to me, because I get to talk about things that I would never talk about on any other project. Tana Talk is the series where you get me, my deepest, darkest feelings. I’m sure people are going to be surprised at the things I’m saying on TT4, but they are also going to get an inside look at things.”
The new album contains 12 tracks and is laced with previously released “Johnny P’s Caddy” with J. Cole. The additional guest appearances come from Boldy James on “Weekends In The Perry’s”, Diddy on “10 More Commandments”, Conway The Machine on “Tyson vs. Ali”, 38 Spesh on “Uncle Bun”, Westside Gunn on “Guerrero” and more. The production is handled by The Alchemist, Daringer, and Beat Butcha.
