Baby Keem shares “The Melodic Blue” deluxe.
After a surprise announcement earlier today, Baby Keem has unveiled the deluxe edition of his debut studio album “The Melodic Blue” which was released over a year ago. The original project featured guest appearances from Travis Scott, Don Toliver and more. It also featured two collaborations with his cousin Kendrick Lamar.
The new version comes with 10 additional tracks, making it a 26-track album. The guest features come from Brent Faiyaz on “Lost Souls”, Lil Uzi Vert on “Bank Account”, and Don Toliver & PinkPantheress on “KillStreaks”.
Together with Kendrick Lamar, Baby Keem is now touring Europe as part of the Mr. Morale tour. The rapper will appear on November 1 in Belgium before travelling to Germany over the weekend, Scotland, England, and Ireland during the first part of November, and finally Belgium on November 2.
With about 53,000 album-equivalent units sold, The Melodic Blue peaked on the Billboard 200 at No. 5. Kendrick (“Range Brothers” and “Family Ties”), Travis Scott (“Durag Activity”), Don Toliver (“Cocoa”), and Brent Faiyaz (“Lost Souls”) all made cameo appearances on the Grammy-winning project’s 19 tracks.
The album’s lead single “Family Ties” with Kendrick Lamar earned him his first Grammy at the 64th annual Grammy Awards for best rap song.
