Alicia Keys drops her new double album “Keys”.
It’s finally here. Alicia Keys has released her highly anticipated new album “Keys”. The project is Alicia Keys’ eighth studio album, and a follow up to last year’s “ALICIA“. The project is a double album, with 26 tracks in total.
Side One is called “Originals”, which contains 14 tracks and guest appearances from Pusha T on “Plentiful” and Brandi Charlile on “Paper Flowers”. Side Two is titled “Unlocked”, with 12 tracks in total and guest appearances from Lil Wayne on “Nat King Cole”, Khalid and Lucky Daye on “Come For Me”, and previously released “LALA” with Swae Lee.
Keys’ new track “LALA,” featuring Swae Lee, was released in September. So far, just an unlocked version of the song has been released, offering fans a taste of what’s to come from the artist’s next album. In the same month, Keys presented Moncler Genius’ newest virtual fashion presentation, which transported spectators to Milan, Tokyo, New York, and other locations.
“One album. Two versions. Originals and Unlocked,” she said previously. “The Originals come from that classic side of me! It’s that AK that we WANT! A homecoming. The Unlocked side, I wanted to sample The Originals to create a whole other sonic experience. So, Mike WiLL Made It and I connected and made magic. Together, they are a fusion of the worlds within me with the #KEYS as the main ingredient. And I’m so excited to share it with you. I CANT WAIT!”
