A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie unleashes his new album “Me vs. Myself”.
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie continues putting out new material as he finally released his long-awaited new album “Me vs. Myself”. The project which was originally titled “A Boogie vs Artist”, was delayed previously after Drake and 21 Savage dropped their joint effort “Her Loss”.
The project contains a pack of 22 tracks, with guest appearances from Kodak Black, Tory Lanez, G Herbo, Lil Durk, H.E.R., Roddy Ricch and more.
The album is arriving a year after his previous short EP “B4 A Boogie vs Artist” which featured 7 tracks with a guest appearance from Lil Durk. The new album is a follow-up to his 2020’s effort “Artist 2.0“, which debuted at #2 on Billboard 200, earning 111,000 album-equivalent units in the first week.
After being postponed from its planned Nov. 4 release date to avoid clashing with Drake and 21 Savage’s most recent album, Her Loss, A Boogie’s Me Vs. Myself is now officially available “Sorry but album dropping in December now, Drake was dropping the same day and I’m not with that #HOODIESZN,” he wrote with a series of laughing emojis on his Instagram Story.
Since Boogie originally made his impact, the music world in New York has seen significant changes. However, judging by how well-received the singles “B.R.O. Despite the praise that “Playa” with H.E.R. and “(Better Ride Out)” with Roddy Ricch are receiving, Boogie’s distinctive melodic style is still popular with hip hop enthusiasts. Boogie has not only stayed faithful to his sound, but to other things as well. The album’s cover picture carries on the animated art theme that runs across his whole career.
