Eminem kills his Super Bowl performance with new kicks.
The Super Bowl LVI took place earlier tonight, Los Angeles Rams beat Cincinnati Bengals with a score of 23-20 at the SoFi Stadium in LA. The hip hop fans had been waiting for this year’s super bowl event for the halftime show which had performances from Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg and a surprise appearance from 50 Cent.

During the appearance, the Detroit rapper, who is a big sneakerhead, rocks his new Air Jordan 3, with a name tag “Hi! My name is Slim Shady” at the back. “Air Shady,” he wrote on his social media.

The rapper also made headlines for taking the knee after his “Lose Yourself” performance even after NFL asked him not to do it.

Today’s 15-minute halftime show set includes classic tracks like “The Next Episode”, “California Love”, “In Da Club”, “Alright” and more.
Em made a statement during his set by kneeling throughout his performance, presumably as a homage to former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who protested by kneeling during games. Shady was reportedly told by the NFL that he would not be able to do so. The halftime spectacle did not include a hologram of Tupac Shakur, as many had predicted.
