Eminem's Daughter Whitney Changes Name & Comes Out As Non-Binary

Eminem’s adopted daughter Whitney comes out as Non-Binary.

Eminem’s 19-year-old adopted daughter, who was previously known as Whitney, changed her name to Stevie and comes out as Non-Binary on Tik-Tok. The Detroit rapper adopted Whitney Scott in 2005 after he reconciled with his ex-wife and her mother Kim Scott.

Stevie said that she will now be identified with they/she/he pronouns. “Watch me become more comfortable with myself,” Stevie wrote on the Tik-Tok video. In the comments, Stevie detailed their new name and said, “I spent a long time trying to pick a name I felt uncomfortable with and the first name I felt comfortable with is Stevie.” Stevie also said that they’re working on legally changing their name.

The video was captioned: “forever growing and changing <3 #greenscreen #genderfluid #bi #life” and initially begins with a series of images showing Stevie with longer hair and audible crying can be heard, with the words ‘Whitney she/her’ overlaid on the screen. The words ‘Whitney she/they’ then appear, as more images showing Stevie shortening and then shaving their hair are shown, before the words ‘Stevie they/she’ appear.

“Watch me become more at ease with myself,” Stevie wrote on the video. Stevie adopts a more feminine appearance in the video before progressively becoming more in sync with their identity, experimenting with hair colours, and disclosing the moment they began using “they” pronouns. Stevie then took on their new name before identifying with all pronouns.

Stevie has received a lot of love and support in the comments section of the video, which has already been seen over 127,000 times. “I came out as non binary a few weeks ago and I just want to say I’m very pleased for you and extremely proud!” commented one TikTok user. in response to which Stevie responded, “Aw thank you so much <3 I am so happy for you and proud of you too!

Hailie responded by liking Stevie’s post, and reported that the teen’s name was featured in an obituary for their grandmother Kathleen Sluck in July.

‘Kathleen was an outstanding parent to her two daughters; Kim and Dawn; and was happy to become a grandmother to her grandkids; Alaina, Adam, Hailie, Stevie, P.J., and Parker,’ according to an obituary for their grandma Kathleen Sluck last month. They had previously came out as bisexual while attending a Harry Styles performance when they were 15 years old.

Eminem’s biological daughter Stevie is the biological daughter of his ex-wife Kim Scott and the late Eric Hartter, who died in 2019. Stevie didn’t find out who her biological father was until they were shown a news item about his death, as she described in another TikTok video.

Eminem adopted Stevie in 2005 before divorcing Scott for the second time in 2006, and Alaina, who is 28 years old, is the daughter of Scott’s late twin sister Dawn. Hailie, 25, is the biological daughter of the former couple. Eminem adopted Whitney in 2006 following getting back together with his ex-wife Kim. Stevie aka Whitney’s biological father was Eric Harter, who was wanted by the police for selling drugs, and he was because of an overdose.

The Tik-Tok clip starts with audio of someone crying before a montage of Stevie’s transformation photos over the years are shown. Back in 2017, Stevie came out as bisexual and asked to go by the pronouns she/they. The clip gets praise from their followers and is also liked by Stevie’s half-sister and Eminem’s biological daughter Hailie Scott Mathers.

On the 2010 Recovery song “Going Through Changes,” Slim Shady raps, “Hailie this one is for you, Whitney, and Alaina too/I still love your mother, that’ll never change/Think about her every day, we just could never get it together hey.”

In a previous interview with Rolling Stone, while discussing parenthood, Eminem said, “Being a dad is definitely living a double life. Taking the kids to school, picking ’em up, teaching ’em rules. I’m not saying I’m the perfect father, but the most important thing is to be there for my kids and raise them the right way.”

Grammy rapper Eminem spoke frankly about motherhood in March 2020, saying that “being able to raise kids” was one of his greatest successes.

When boxing superstar Mike Tyson inquired if Hailie, now 25, had any children of her own, he said on Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson: “No babies. Just a boyfriend. She’s doing good.”

The Just a Little Shady podcast has been started by Hailie Jade and Brittany Ednie, who have been best friends since second grade. Followers of Eminem’s rap career are aware that Hailie has played a significant role in his life and served as the inspiration for a number of his songs.

She introduced her fiance through her ‘Just A Little Shady’ podcast, where the two talked about behind-the-scenes details of the whole thing, and how he took Eminem’s blessing before proposing her. “You went through the whole thing, you went through the whole process. You asked for permission… at a family gathering, over the holidays,” said Hailie at around the 7:00 minute mark.

“Yeah, it was over the holidays,” responds Evan. “I was just looking for an opportunity not to make it too obvious. So I saw your dad go downstairs and I’m like, ‘Alright. I gotta do it right now or I am not doing it today. I am gonna have to schedule some other time. So I just followed him downstairs and thankfully, he was just down there, grabbing your cake.”

On May 2, 2023, Hailie posted the pictures from her engagement party with friend and family. As she shared pictures of all the guests, the fans didn’t find her father Eminem anywhere. “Everyone wants to know where the father of the bride is,” one fan wrote. “He’s there! She’s daddy’s little girl he wouldn’t miss that. But this is her day for her to shine,” wrote another.

Eminem and Hailie Jade weren’t spotted together since her early childhood days, but the two finally make an appearance together when the rapper was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2022. “I almost died from an overdose in 2007, which kind of s**ked,” Eminem said during his speech. “Hailie, plug your ears: because drugs were f—ing delicious, and I thought we had a good thing going man, but I had to go and f— it all up and take too many. God damn. OK Hailie.”

Hailie was graduate in 2014 in Summa Cum Laude from Michigan’s Chippewa Valley High School. “My mother and father because they have pushed me to be the person I am and have given me all the support to achieve what I have,” she said in the year end newsletter.

In related news, Eminem’s other adopted daughter Alaina Scott, 30, married to her longtime boyfriend Matt Moeller. “June 9, 2023 simply one of the best days of my life,” she wrote with a series of pictures from the wedding, which was held outdoors in Detroit. “In this lifetime and in the next, my soul will always find yours.” “Love, Mr & Mrs Moeller,” she wrote in another post.

While Eminem didn’t appear in any of the pictures, the rapper’s biological daughter Hailie Jade was featured in the wedding photos.

Eminem adopted Alaina in the mid-2000s, and biologically she is Detroit Rapper’s niece. Alaina is the biological daughter of Dawn Scott, the sister of Eminem’s ex-wife Kim Mathers. Dawn Scott reportedly died in 2016 due to a drug overdose.

“I have full custody of my niece and joint custody of Hailie,” Eminem once said in an interview. “I was always there for Hailie, and my niece has been a part of my life ever since she was born. Me and Kim pretty much had her, she’d live with us wherever we was at.”

Eminem continue to go public with his family as he attended Detroit Lions vs Carolina Panthers at Ford Field stadium, along with Hailie Jade and her fiancee, Stevie with her friend, the husband of his other daughter Alaina, and Nathan Kane Mathers’ family.

Just recently, Hailie also attended 50 Cent’s concert in Clarkston, Michigan, which featured surprise appearance from Eminem. “We went to the 50 Cent concert. I was so freaking happy, I’ve not seen him perform since like it was sixth grade. It’s been so long,” she said as she praised the set list of the concert.

She continued, “The actual production in the entire show, I haven’t seen that level of production. I was not disappointed. And also, Dad [Eminem] came out, I don’t know why… That’s just how I have to say it. It’s funny because when he came out for Ed Sheeran concert, we like we knew before, and now we found out right before the appearance. Still no matter what I get so hype because the crowd like I could see the crowd being so happy.”

It is also revealed that Stevie will appear on Hailie’s “Just A Little Shady” podcast.

“When you were born, I was like, ‘A baby for me. It’s mine,'” says Hailie about Stevie birth in the episode. “You’ve lived a thousand lives,” Hailie said. “You just try as many activities and then you’d be good at them all. And then I’d be like, ‘That’s annoying. Why are you so athletic?'”

In the episode, Stevie talked about her partner Declan Jace, with whom she moved together last year. “I feel like if you have a connection with someone, it can work,” Stevie said. “Especially if you make time for it to work.”

Eminem continued support for Detroit Lions as he attended their matches throughout January along with his family. However, Lions ends their season with a defeat against San Francisco 49ers. “So proud of the @Lions Thanks 4 an amazing season!!!! We’ll b back!!!,” wrote Eminem.
