J. Cole recently sat down with Billboard during his KOD tour stop in Dallas for a new interview. He talks about Donald Trump & why he didn’t vote for Hillary Clinton, why he doesn’t feel like a star, his thoughts on criticism to his latest project KOD, having a conversation with XXTentacion back in February through Facetime and much more.

Cole’s “KOD” had the highest debut week of any album this year as it opened at the top of the US Billboard benchmark chart. Nielsen Music, “KOD” became the third most played record ever for the week ending on Thursday after selling 397,000 copies or the digital equivalent. The North Carolina-based rapper’s fifth album, “KOD,” has a more daring creative style. Cole backs his verses with patiently timed jazz and shimmering sounds.
