DJ Premier & Royce Da 5’9″ reveals the “PRhyme 2” tracklist.
After giving us their new single ‘Rock It‘ last week, the duo of DJ Premier and Royce Da 5’9″ decided to unveil the official tracklist for their upcoming joint project ‘PRhyme 2‘ which is scheduled to release on March 16th. The project will have 17 tracks with guest appearances from Dave East, Yelawolf, 2 Chainz, Big K.R.I.T., CeeLo Green and more.
The latest endeavour is about double the size of the last phase from 2014. Royce was dropping verses with Common, Mac Miller, Ab-Soul, ScHoolboy Q, and Killer Mike, to name a few at the time. The album would make its debut at No. 59 on the Billboard Hot 200. DJ Premier’s first strategy was to pull samples completely from composer Adrian Younge’s collection.
