Lil Wayne receives I Am Hip-Hop Awards at BET.
Lil Wayne’s long-delayed album ‘Tha Carter V‘ released last month and it debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 with sales over 480k copies in the first week. This year’s BET Hip-Hop Award which took place in Miami decided to give away their first ever I Am Hip-Hop award and they gave it to none other than Lil Wayne.
He took the stage with his mother and daughter and talked about the refusal to stop through the last few years in trying to release the album and also revealed that a former NOPD officer Bob refused to stop in saving his life after he attempted suicide as a child. Watch it below.
