Kanye West releases the new album ‘Ye’ feat Nicki Minaj, Ty Dolla Sign & others.

After an album listening session party for close friends, family, and select media persons earlier tonight in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Kanye West has released his new project worldwide. The Kanye West album is officially titled ‘Ye‘. The album has 7 songs, which he revealed back in April. The Cover Art for the album is shot by Kanye West himself on his iPhone on the way to the album listening party.

The guest features on the project are Ty Dolla Sign, Valee, Young Thug, Jeremih, John Legend, Kid Cudi, Nicki Minaj, DeJ Loaf & more.

It was a roller coaster for the celebrity that cancelled his Saint Paulo tour 2016 after hospitalization and a mental failure. Then, after a roughly year-long sabbatical, he returned to Twitter several weeks ago by sparking lots of attention (“if you get up first don’t hop immediately on the phone or internet”), before joining the internet and telling TMZ that slavery seemed like an “option.”

Ye debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 list with 208,000 album-equivalent units, 85,000 of which were pure album sales, making it the fifth-largest weekly album sales for 2018 at the time in terms of units, and concurrently atop the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. West tied Eminem’s still current streak from 2000 to 2018 and English band the Beatles’ streak from 1965–1968 as one of just three performers to collect eight consecutive number-one albums on the Billboard 200 with the album.
