Chris Brown drops ‘No Guidance’ featuring Drake.
Chris Brown is all set to drops his new album Indigo later this month on June 28th but before that he decided to release some more new music. Chris Brown teamed up with Toronto’s superstar Drake for a new song called ‘No Guidance‘. The two who had been beefing for years squashed their differences last year in October in LA.
Brown and Drake have a past of spats dating all the way back to 2012 over singer Rihanna, which erupted in June of that year when the singers’ friends began hurling bottles at each other at a New York City nightclub.
Drizzy nonchalantly half-croons on the tune, “Pretty lil’ thing, you got a bag and now you wildin’/You just took it off the lot, no mileage/Way they hittin’ you, the DM lookin’ violent/Talkin’ why you come around and now they silent.”
Breezy, who is about to go on a tour this summer, and Drizzy, who recently wrapped up his Assassination Vacation Tour, had never collaborated on an official tune before. Most didn’t expect them to, given their on-again, off-again beef over the last few years. It’s finally occurred, and their admirers would likely argue that the music world is a better place as a result.
In the United Kingdom, “No Guidance” debuted at number eight on the UK Singles Chart on June 14, 2019, and climbed to number six in its second week. It is Brown’s 16th top-ten single on the chart, and Drake’s 17th top-ten hit. The song debuted at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, becoming Chris Brown’s 15th top ten hit and Drake’s 34th top ten on the list.

Chris Robinson helmed the “No Guidance” music video, which debuted on July 26, 2019. The video lasts 9 minutes and 7 seconds in total. Drake’s “Ooo wow” remark in response to Brown’s dancing during the dance off has since become a meme. In the video, singers Tory Lanez and Sevyn Streeter made cameo cameos.
Breezy, who is starting a tour this summer, and Drizzy, who just ended his Assassination Vacation Tour, have never released an official track together prior to this collaboration. Most people never anticipated them given their intermittent quarrels over the last few years. Their supporters would undoubtedly contend that now that it has finally occurred, the music industry is better for it.
UPDATE: Added the official video.
