The Weeknd drops official visual for ‘Call Out My Name’.
After giving us the vertical video last video, The Weeknd returns with the official main video for his song called ‘Call Out My Name‘. It is directed by Grant Singer.
The track appeared on The Weeknd’s new EP ‘My Dear Melancholy‘ which debuted at number 1 on Billboard 200. Watch the video below and also watch the behind-the-scenes video of the making of his new project.
The nearly four-minute video depicts Abel strolling down a lonely road while preaching his song’s lyrics. Bats fly out of his mouth at one point during the chorus, and we’re whisked to several locations where we meet a mysterious, interesting-looking man. This follows Abel Tesfaye’s recent visuals, which chronicled the development of My Dear Melancholy and coincided with the project’s single “He Was Never There.”
With the dark and emotional style of the six-track record, which was most likely influenced by his previous public romances with singer Selena Gomez and model Bella Hadid, social media has already declared that the “old Weeknd” is back.
