Freddie Gibbs shares “Zipper Bagz” visual.
Freddie Gibbs is back with some new material as he now releases a music video for his song titled “Zipper Bagz”. The song is produced by KAYTRANADA, and the video is directed by Ben “Lambo” Lambert, Harley Astorga & Freddie Gibbs himself.
This follows up on his January’s visual “Rabbit Vision”, and it appeared on Gibbs’ recent album “Soul Sold Separately”.
“Heaven or the belly of the beast I’ll go / Freddie, how you come up on the kis that low? / Hit my Mexican and come up on at least five more / Kill an opp, then it’s back to the East I go, to the East I go,” he raps.
The music video for the song was co-directed by Gibbs’ manager, Ben “Lambo” Lambert, Harley Astorga, and the rapper himself. The opening scene features a menacing voice mail about the repercussions of an unfinished job. Meanwhile, Gibbs is shown having an argument with a woman, after which they go their separate ways, leaving the rapper alone in a motel room with a large leather duffle bag. He waits in the room until the end of the video, which concludes with a knock on the door, leaving the audience uncertain of his fate.
