Eminem drops the video for Jessie Reyez assisted ‘Good Guy’.
Eminem returns with some new material as he drops the video for “Good Guy“ which features Jessie Reyez. This is Eminem’s fourth video off his latest album ‘Kamikaze‘. The first three are for ‘Fall‘, ‘Lucky You‘ featuring Joyner Lucas, and ‘Venom‘.
The song is a follow-up to “Nice Guy,” another Em and Reyez collaboration from the recently released “Kamikaze” album. Both tracks deal, in somewhat muddled ways, with Eminem’s difficult romantic relationships. That is demonstrated in the “Good Guy” video by Jessie Reyez clawing her way out of a grave, marching to Eminem’s mansion, and fighting him. After several failed stabbing attempts, she finally succeeds when she pushes Eminem out of a window. Then she strangles him, wraps his body in plastic sheets, and returns him to the tomb from whence she began her hero’s trip. It’s quite a bit. In October, Eminem infected the public with a Slim Shady symbiote in his new video for “Venom,” the main single from the Marvel antihero film. It was a track from his most recent album, Kamikaze, which he released as a surprise in August. The album comes as a follow-up to his 2017 release, Revival.
