Eminem drops the official visual for ‘Framed’.
After teasing it last week, Eminem returns with the official video for his song called ‘Framed‘. The very frightening visual is the third video from his latest album ‘Revival‘ after Beyonce assisted ‘Walk On Water‘ and ‘River‘ featuring Ed Sheeran.
A news reporter named Stan Dresden informs viewers at the start of the video that Eminem has escaped from an asylum. The news team and detectives are camped outside Em’s home, waiting to make a move, while Em is watching the report from his living room. Em plays Slim Shady, a deranged serial murderer with several identities (Slim Shady, Marshall Mathers, Eminem, etc.) who feels he’s being set up for a spate of murders because he has no memory of all the wrongdoings his alter ego Slim Shady has committed.
The video is set in locales including dark woods, an asylum hallway, and a blood-splattered living room, where Em is accompanied by two dead bodies and several drawings, showcasing the rapper’s multiple identities. Em is finally apprehended after a detective enters his home to question him about his recent killing sprees, despite his repeated declarations of innocence. The detective uses hypnosis to calm the rapper, and at the end of the film, Em is back in an asylum, where he begins to hallucinate before being injected with an unknown chemical and taken away.
