Doja Cat shares visual for “Get Into It (Yuh)”.
Doja Cat makes her return with some new material as she releases the music video for her song called “Get Into It (Yuh)”, which is produced by Sully YS2K. The space, alien inspired music video is directed by Mike Diva. The track is off her record-breaking “Planet Her” album, which helped Doja Cat earn the most Nominations as a rapper for the 64th Grammy Awards. It was the third best selling rap album of 2021.
“Yeah, you just wanna party, you just wanna lap dance / You just wanna pop up on these clowns like you’re the Batman / You just wanna ball out in designer with your best friends / You don’t wanna talk no more about it in the past tense,” she raps.
This follows up her previous music videos “Woman“, and assistance on French Montana’s “Handstand“.
“Planet Her” first arrived in June of last year, with 14 genre-bending tracks featuring Young Thug, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, JID, and SZA. The project not only broke streaming records prior to and during its release, but it also reached number two on the Billboard 200 with 109,000 first-week album-equivalent unit sales. Just before the end of 2021, a deluxe edition of Planet Her was released, with five more tracks and collaborations with Gunna and Eve.
