Rowdy Rebel shares visual for “New York” with Jadakiss and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.
Last night, Rowdy Rebel made his return to the music as he finally dropped his long-awaited debut album “Rebel vs. Rowdy”. The rapper now continues the promo run with a new music video for his song “New York”. The track features assistance from Jadakiss and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.
“In this two-seater with the heat up to the max / Bumpin’ old school slick Drake to the patch / She can buck where I came from, I can never go back / ‘Cause they don’t really make ’em like this anymore,” raps Rebel.
The video for “New York,” which goes along with the song, features a midnight gathering of many of the top people from the city, directed by G-Train. You may see people like Fabolous, Fat Joe, Don Q, and others on the metro and at well-known areas all across.
Following 2016’s Shmoney Keeps Calling, which was released while Rowdy Rebel was still behind bars, comes Rebel vs. Rowdy. Many well-known artists, including A$AP Ferg, Lil Durk, Rich The Kid, Kent Jones, Too $hort, Ty Dolla $ign, and Bobby Shmurda, had cameos on that record. Before that, he released Shmoney Shmurda (along with GS9) and Remain Silent in 2014 and 2015, respectively.
