Rick Ross shares a visual for “Little Havana”.
Rick Ross is celebrating his 46th birthday today, and the MMG boss dropped the deluxe edition of his latest album “Richer Than I Ever Been” on the occasion. After dropping the deluxe version last night, Rozay revisits the original album for the music video of the song called “Little Havana”. The song features assistance from The-Dream and Willie Falcon.
“Problem was I never was a prodigy / Possibly, my biggest flaw is lack of modesty / Diabolical means, never knew college degrees / Sippin’ coffee at a cafe on Collins, capisce?,” raps Rick Ross.
Richer Than I Ever Been included “Little Havana,” as well as previously released singles “Outlawz” and “Pinned to the Cross.” Rozay’s new album will be published in 2019, after 2019’s Port of Miami 2, the sequel to his debut album Port of Miami, which was released in 2006.
Ross called Richer Than I Ever Been his favourite album yet in an interview with Complex in November. “It has more lyrical wordplay,” he said. “I’m on some s**t. I felt there was some sh*t I could do different coming off of Port of Miami 2. So on Richer Than I Ever Been, maybe the first five records could be overwhelming with the way the production is and the extent I’m going to with the wordplay, the rap sh*t. That’s most definitely a difference, versus me giving records that’s just about the vibe.”
