NIGO drops the video for “Hear Me Clearly” with Pusha T.
NIGO continues putting out new material as he now connects with Pusha T for the official video for their collaboration called “Hear Me Clearly”. It is produced by Kanye West, ThaMyind, Luca Starz & BoogzDaBeastThe track appeared on the Japanese fashion designer’s come back album “I Know NIGO“, his first in almost two decades following 2005’s “NIGO Presents: Return of the Ape Sounds”.
The album featured music from Lil Uzi Vert, Tyler the Creator, ASAP Rocky, Kid Cudi, Pop Smoke, ASAP Ferg, Pharrell, Gunna and more.
“Extracurricular, art buyer, 812 ‘Rari driver / Spent six just to make the roof, Harry Potter / Kilogram Kickstarter, push a brick harder / Left my elbow in the pot, à la Vince Carter,” raps Pusha.
Droning, reverb bells accompany a head-bobbing “drummer boy” rhythm in the back of the mix on “Hear Me Clearly,” produced by Ye, enabling Push’s vocals to fully shine in the foreground. Push’s street allusions are as nasty and cruel as ever, rhyming “left my elbow in the pot, a la Vince Carter,” among many other quotables in true “Clipse” manner.
