Larry June & The Alchemist enlist Ty Dolla Sign for the “Summer Reign” visual.
Larry June and The Alchemist are back with some new material as they enlist Ty Dolla Sign for the official visual for their track titled “Summer Reign”. The track is off their new joint album “The Great Escape”. This follows up their previously released “Palisades, CA” visual with Big Sean.
“How you gon’ say you boss if you don’t handle biz? / Real men stay on ten, take care of they kids / Your boys talkin too much, it’s time to show them M’s / I did shows around the globe and never took a cent,” raps June.
The recent 15-track project additionally featured Action Bronson, Boldy James, Wiz Khalifa, Joey Badass, Currensy and more. “I definitely put myself in a relaxed state – most of the beats I made with my shoes off, kept it to that feel,” Alchemist said about the album process with Larry. “I wanted to add to that luxury, Larry really has no lint on his socks. You’ll never see a piece of lint on a Larry June sock, that’s a fact, and I had to cater to that. I wanted to make beats that sounded like there was not a piece of lint on them.”
June is currently on his “Larry’s Market Run” tour, with support from Monroe Flow and DVME.
