DJ Premier shares the “Remy Rap” video with Remy Ma & Rapsody.
To Celebrate Hip Hop’s 49th birthday today (August 11), DJ Premier decided to put out something new from his latest project. The legendary producer enlist Remy Ma & Rapsody for the music video of their song called “Remy Rap”.
The track is off Mass Appeal & DJ Premier’s “Hip Hop 50, Vol 1” EP, which featured music from Nas, Run The Jewels, Joey Badass, Lil Wayne and more.
“I rap when I wanna, I stopped to have my daughter / Was flying PJs while y’all was wearing pajamas / And I’m signed to myself so they can’t jerk her / Done caught more suits and cases than a TSA worker / Motherf**ker,” raps Remy.
There will be nine more EPs in The Soundtrack Series, all of which will be produced by different artists including Swizz Beatz, Mustard, The-Dream, Mike Will Made-It, No I.D., Hit-Boy, and others.
