Snoop Dogg and Blxst share a visual for “Go To War”.
Snoop Dogg continues putting out new material as he enlists Blxst for the official video for their song called “Go To War”. The Shante Broadus directed visual shows two different eras, the current one for Blxst and the old school for Snoop Dogg, who rocks an afro.
The track appeared on Snoop Dogg’s new album “Algorithm” which features new music from Redman, Method Man, Usher, Eric Bellinger, Fabolous, Dave East, YK Osiris, Blxst, October London, Ty Dolla Sign, Mary J Blige, Wiz Khalifa and more. “Go To War” follows up his previous video, “Murder Music” with Busta Rhymes, Jadakiss and Benny The Butcher.
The companion video for “Go To War,” directed by Shante Broadus’ Boss Lady Entertainment, features Snoop and Blxst as the main protagonists in a 1970s blaxploitation film comparable to classics like The Mack and Shaft – the duo takes out the alleged bad guys, play craps with gorgeous ladies, and more. In another scene, the film is being shown in a drive-in theatre, and Blxst can be seen expressing his feelings to his love interest.
