Snoop Dogg drops the video for “Murder Music”.
Last week, Snoop Dogg joined forces with Busta Rhymes, Jadakiss, and Benny The Butcher for his latest single called “Murder Music“. Today, the Long Beach Legend decided to put out the official music video, which featured appearances from all four rappers. The visual shows a giant Snoop Dogg rapping on the Empire State Building, while Jada, Busta, and Benny perform their verses in different places of the city.
The West Coast rapper is all set to drop his nineteenth studio album “Algorithm” next week on November 19.
The West Coast rap pioneer was named Executive Creative and Strategic Consultant of Def Jam in June, a position that allows him to collaborate strategically with the label’s executive team and artist roster. “They did all types of sh*t I wanted to be a part of — and then Death Row happened,” he said in his Instagram announcement. “So, I didn’t get a chance to be on Def Jam, but I always had a dream to be on Def Jam and to be in the place where Hip Hop originated. “So when I got the opportunity, my main focus on Def Jam Records was to go and help the artists, give them love, give them wisdom, guidance and understanding, and teach them some tricks I learned in the game; to diversify their portfolio, to not just be rappers, to not just be artists but to be superstars, superheroes, so to speak.”
The album is deemed to be the best album by Joyner Lucas which he heard in a long time. Snoop Dogg recently linked up with E-40, Ice Cube, and Too Short for their group Mount Westmore single “Big Subwoofer“.
