The Weeknd drops “Save Your Tears” video.
After giving us the Rosalía assisted ‘Blinding Lights’ remix last month, The Weeknd continues pushing his ‘After Hours‘ album with a brand new music video. This time The Weeknd releases the visual for one of the fan-favorite ‘Save Your Tears‘.
The Weeknd is dressed in a modified version of his red-jacketed ensemble in it, and the injuries on his face have vanished, albeit his character has had some odd plastic surgery that makes him seem like the lion woman. He’s playing at a posh nightclub full of professionally dressed individuals wearing glittering, full-face masks reminiscent of Stanley Kubrick’s final film, “Eyes Wide Shut,” and his backup band is also wearing masks.
He was recently snubbed by the Grammys, despite having the biggest song and one of the best albums this year. The Weeknd later called them out and said, “The Grammys remain corrupt.“
