Rick Ross drops ‘Gold Roses’ featuring Drake.
After giving us Swizz Beatz’s assisted ‘BIG TYME‘ earlier this month, Rick Ross continues releasing new material as he teams up with Drake for the track called ‘Gold Roses‘. The duo also collaborated last month on ‘Money In The Grave‘.
The song is off Ross’ upcoming album, Port of Miami 2, which will be released on August 9th via MMG/Epic. Earlier this summer, the two collaborated on Drake’s “Money in the Grave.”
Port of Miami 2 is the sequel to Ross’ debut album Port of Miami, which was released in 2006. Ross posted on Instagram, “Port of Miami began me on my adventure.” “It’s only right that I bring it all back to the beginning. This CD is for my old friends and new friends.”
On September 3rd, Hanover Square Press will issue Ross’ memoir, HURRICANES. Ross’ childhood, rise in the industry, and time as a drug dealer will be chronicled in the book, co-written by Neil Martinez-Belkin. Ross said in a statement, “My story has always been deeper than rap.” “I wanted to go deeper than I had ever gone before with this work. I wanted to educate people about William Leonard Roberts’ life.”
UPDATE: Added the official video which doesn’t have the appearance of Drake.
